Scottish Country Dancing is a form of Scottish dancing where the emphasis is on enjoying yourself, mixing socially with a wide variety of people, some simple footwork and enjoyment of the music  (mostly fiddle and accordion, not pipe music).  One of the main benefits is that you can come by yourself and dance with a variety of people during the evening.  It is a great way to maintain fitness in a fun way and for families to participate in an activity all together.
